I am a registered psychologist and life coach specialised in emotional eating, body kindness, and mindful eating.

I empower women to become the best version of themselves through my comprehensive approach, which combines personal coaching and psychology, leveraging my client’s strengths and building around their opportunities.

My Story

I know what it feels like to be sluggish, unhappy, and unmotivated. I understand the appeal of seemingly miraculous diets and the disappointment of realising it’s not sustainable.

I turned my life around through a mindful approach to living. I became more conscious of my eating patterns, my body, and my daily habits. This enabled me to break free of from diet mentality that had kept me too long in a state of endless discouragement. I decided to become a life coach and I founded The Mindful Body to instill the same techniques and information in my clients that got me where I am today. As a Dublin-based life coach, I want to create a bridge between you and your most meaningful goals. While they may seem unachievable, I assure you that’s not the case.

Of course, transforming your habits and mindset is easier said than done. I know, from my own experience, that when it comes to breaking free from emotional eating and embracing a more balanced lifestyle, the journey can be all but smooth and easy. That is because change is not easy. I myself have experienced setbacks, lack of clarity on what was going on, moments of real discouragement where it seems so hard to love my body and look after it. However, I can tell you that when your mind is in the right place the process of looking after yourself becomes easier. Today, we all are in a perpetual rush to get things done. We constantly juggle between tight deadlines, people to attend to, places to get to. In the process, we settle for fast food and ignore our body’s signals. Based on my own experience and education, I can tell you that slowing down in combination with mindfulness is the answer.

My Approach

The Mindful Body is unique in its approach. It draws on traditional lifestyle coaching elements while infusing the best practices of modern psychology and mindfulness. The result is an innovative system that promotes health and balance. This approach offers a sustainable and compassionate alternative to so much of the unrealistic advice that is out there.

Too often, we believe that dieting is the best way to develop a desirable self-image. That is simply not true. These restrictive approaches set you up for emotional and physical burn out that ultimately leaves you exactly where you started, without any answers. I’m not saying that a well-balanced diet and exercise are not necessary. They are. However, moving forward toward a healthier life requires an understanding of our minds and bodies in a way that works harmoniously with our diet. Having a mindful approach to what we eat, gives us time to fully appreciate the eating experience with all the five senses.

Everyone that comes to The Mindful Body receives individualised care and attention. I understand that you have specific goals and preferences and will accommodate your needs as completely as possible. Your path to self-improvement can go through three routes, including face to face meetings, one to one sessions in nature, and group workshops.

The face to face meetings can take place in person or online. During these sessions, I take the time to understand your health goals, identify what is holding you back, and create a plan of action. The package includes 4 to 5 90 minute long meetings over a month with email support, worksheets, and toolkits.

You can also opt for a one to one session in nature. Take a relaxing stroll through nature with me as you activate your creative energies. The first half of the session focuses on self-discovery, while the second half involves creating a pathway to self-improvement.

If you prefer a group environment, The Mindful Body also offers regular workshops that provide the tools to improve your mindset and behaviour practices. You can find partners in people that are going through the comparable struggles as you, and who want to find a better way forward. You will have the same opportunities to engage with a lifestyle coach as you would for one to one meetings.
